Elemental Diet is a dietary therapy used in patients who have Crohn's Disease. The diet is in a liquid form and is given via gastric feeding tube or intravenously. Crohn's disease is a disease of the bowel, also known as regional enteritis, inflammatory bowel disease or Granulomatous ileocolitis.
